Blind Dream

Our hands were tightly gripped,
Before our passion slipped.
Words in vain,
No longer sane,
Our hearts, apart they ripped.

Dialogues play in my mind,
As I try to sleep and hope to find
A reason why
You said goodbye.
But no luck; I now dream blind.

The Sun, once kind, now darkens the blue,
Sunrises mock me; sunsets are crude.
Shattered my glasses; I can only see you.
But now I'm faded from view.
