When I was little you said "I will never let nothing bad happen to
When it did and I came to you; you told me it wasn't true

You didn't want to believe it but then you seen all
the signs pointed to what I said
Then one day to my relief he was dead

You turned to his wife and said I'm sorry for your loss

Little did you now you also lost someone that day
Your daughter that chose not to stay will always
pray for another
The one that hurt her the most was her mother.
