Blinded Love


When the stars hide their fires from the world,
White porcelain washes away to black,
Revealing the punches that once were hurled,
And the bruises that lay upon her back.
For the one she cared for and loved the most,
Has stripped her of her innocence and youth,
And planted a concealed, bloody, black rose,
While clouding her eyes away from the truth.
But yet her kind heart refuses to leave,
For he has possessed her with foolish lies,
Caging her soul as if it's his to keep,
And vows to prison her until he dies.
Though she doesn't see the monster within,
She pledges to love him and only him,
