Blood Red

In the night, in the heated ride
I chase fireflies and remember every time I cried
Every scar and burn lights up the night

Have you ever forgotten how to feel?
Have you ever forgotten what is actually real?
Every inch of your soul craving to be let loose
Every sin looking to be forgiven
You search for an answer with no clues
The most miraculous gifts are usually earned, not given

Fight for life
Which is beautiful
Fight for feeling
Which is bountiful
And when you do get cut, when you really tread
Make sure you bleed with passion!
Make sure you bleed Red!
