Everywhere I suffocate in blue

All with the memories of you

Drowning in all the black

And happy emotions that I lack

I reach my hand for the light

Can’t seem to reach its great height

Slowly life suffocates me

Wish these memories would leave me be

Try to find a string of hope

Find myself hanging on the end of a rope

Like a puppet that can’t move

I have nothing left to prove

My body is tensed and tight

Finally ready to give up the fight

Scars lining up my thighs

Representing all my lies

Ready for an eternal nap

I have at last given up
