as I lay in the grass
gaze at the stars
I think of you as
one from Mars?

you keep a space in my head
as I long for you
perhaps to cuddle in bed
My heart, no longer in two
for I know I can't have you

upon my face, always lies a mug
believing it to be fine
for your love, is my drug
but I believe it's time
to lug myself away from you
but, you'll always make me blue
