Blue Eyes

In the corner of my eye I saw you,
The next day I saw you walk away
You stood in the corner waiting for me to look your way
But my pride and my foolishness got in the way.
You stop mowing the grass, you stop watering the flowers
You stop inviting the sun shine to play.
You watch as the wind blew us away
You yelled and scream to look your way
But my pain and my sorrow got in the way
Your eyes so blue with a hint of green, wondering if I will ever see

In the corner of my eye I watch you in the dark behind any obstacle
Watching you yell and scream
Watching the wind blow our love and memories away.
Watching you rub your tag while your eyes fill with misery
As the sun said good bye, our love waves with great regret.

In the corner of your eye, you watch me as I yell and scream.
Wishing for the sun to come out and play
Wishing for your blue eyes to look my way
Wishing for another day.
In the corner of my eye I saw you walk away
