Bodily Expenditure

What does an arm and a leg really cost?
Is there a price range for such a cede?
After such payment what has one lost?
Such a sacrifice would bring about need
Is the worth of an arm more than a leg?
Given a choice I'd give my left for my right
Could I keep both if I besiege or beg?
After the exchange could I sleep at night?
What purchase could be worth a physical limb?
Earthly pleasures would not equate such things
A life without would be severely grim
Even to be paid as richly as kings
An arm and a leg are worth way too much
Even sizable compensation couldn't sway me to live with a ubiquitous cruth
