Body of Light

Fingers tracing down my spine
like the line of life we live.
Arms embracing the body of light
and a never-ending will to win.
We all need a friend to drive us
to feel the good again.
Never touching
no need to touch
On a tear-stained beach
wild summer storms
I see a face that smiles
on the eyes of the blind
I turn and see a friend.
