Bones

Long limbs and hollow eyes reach across the depths of dark
Arms swing from underpass shadows
Unseen to the unfamiliar
Features catch our eye as we learn to remember
Glimpses of lives misplaced so easily forgotten
Now reaching for neurons
They fire through your brain seeking out the vulnerable
The pain so easily forgotten
Until they were suddenly born into day
Lighting up the parts where your torment had rest
We gracefully dance them back into margins
Seeking someone else to blame for our misery diseases
