You drink because you are feeling some pain,
You drink so much you start running around,
You feel dumb, and you feel like a damn clown,
You drink so much you think you are John Wayne,
You then stop drinking to puke down the drain,
You drink until you pass out on the ground,
You fall to the floor, sleeping safe and sound,
Once again you hopped onto that booze train.
You wake up the next morning on the floor,
You have agreed to never drink again
Yet you’re parched and out looking for more.
You learn that booze is not a good friend,
This is a problem you cannot ignore,
Even He knows that it will be the end.
