Bottom Bottle

I will find my joy at the bottom of this bottle
With a merry twist of the cap
I point the base towards the stars
My head I lean it back
A waterfall of contentment
A river to wash my mind
Of stories I can’t forget
And of things I left behind
Half of it is gone now
So I send smoke signals through my lungs
A little puff and then a chew
To praise what I’ve become
