Boy in the Fire

Remaining is simple dismay
A cat without a grin
Everything which is great requires closure
When I drop to my knees and weep
My darkness is my closest ally
But your eyes condemn my soul
A paragon, I will never be
While this mourning survives
I was never ready to wish Godspeed
