Breaking Me

Wretched
When love goes dry.
your heart shrinks.
Your stomack sinks.
Your insides bleed.
Rather sleep
Than dream.
But I cannot close my eyes,
Horrid memories live
Behind my eyelids.
Waking is nighmarish.
Slow
Pinching
Sadness.
Consuming.
I wish it would just take me.
I'm useless anyway.
Can't think
Can't hear people speak.
I can see mouth's moving.
But I do not care,
And I'm not inclined to ask.
In some shadow I'm crawling,
Slumped over.
Withdrawn and torn apart inside.
Torturous box
I've locked me in.
No one knows
This wretched feeling.
