Breaking Point

The voices in my head,
are as loud as a lion's roar.
The constant yelling,
drowning my thoughts.
They tell me to kill,
but the blade never stains.
They tell me to jump,
but I don't fall.
They complain about my smile,
but I don't mind.
They make jokes,
but I still laugh.
Their constant mocking,
doesn't affect me.
However,
for some reason,
my heart still aches.
"I'm fine,"
I lie,
deep inside,
my heart cries.
