Breaths Of Life

Eyes with magical pupils inside rings of color,
Flutter upon the most opportunities…
As the Earth continues to revolve,
Patterns of deep embedded fear
Melt away by the hours…
Chunk by chunk, watch them go
See the layers turn into dead air…
Looking back inside,
Ask to be covered
In the blessed oil of the right words
By rubbing the courage of God
Into the soul…

When the operations of Life are too dark and dull,
God gives purpose,
And of course, the subject can change here,
But God gifts us with Life
We’re anointed ones from the Lord
With voices to scream loud
Or mutters to start at a lower volume
Whatever the frequency of the message,
God gives us all stories to spread
Testimonies to hand over to the World
To put more magic on
Pupils inside rings of color,
So do not be afraid
To stop reading this poem,
And go do your part
With new breaths of Life
Waiting patiently for your efforts
