Bridges of War

The Bridges of War

There are bridges in life that take you places
Mine takes me Iraq
Other bridges take my brothers away
The bridges are made to carry you troubled waters
But if the bridge is the trouble
Crossing a bridge now is like a trip to the past
I wish I had a bridge to be with friends
Sometimes the troubled waters run over the bridge
When that happens I wish my friends were here so we could ride it out together
They go through the same thing
I wish that the bridges of could keep us together
We there in spirit, but to be there in person is better
My brothers know I am there for them like they are there for me
Will get across any bridge and through any troubled water
