Broke Beyond Bend

The best turns to worse
When we try to reverse
And the love turns to lies
No matter how hard she tries
We all think of dying
Then most keep on flying
But there's one girl still there
And her luck is unfair
So she cuts through her skin
Skips meals to be thin
She's cried out her tears
Her hope turns to fears
Overdosing on pills
Her emptiness refills
She warned all her friends
That she's broke beyond bend
But her smile hides it all
No one catches her fall
"My own life I take"
Now she never will wake
She had said goodbye
But they thought it a lie
And now they regret
Their eyes and cheeks are all wet
"I'm sorry," they say
Walking away from her grave
