Broken and Alone

She was quite because
she had been here before,
when things started
to unravel and fall
apart at the seams.
She thought this time
was different,
but that proved untrue.
All the bad memories
of her past came breaking through.
She gave her heart yet again,
but as time went by,
it was broken again.
One little lie and a half truth,
had caused her to doubt
even the truth.
She tried to forget,
even though she forgave,
but the trust was
lost and could not be regained.
Now she sits in the
reality of the truth,
with tears on her pillow and
her heart in a grave.
