Broken Dream

It was a cold night
I remember like it was yesterday
The moon was shining bright
And the mockingbirds' songs seemed so far away

You reached out to me
And I could reach the sky
Your lips touched mine and set me free
Their softness took me so high

Your body embraced mine warmly
And brought me back to life
Reviving all these mysterious feelings intensely
And enslaving my senses, I am hypnotized

But now you are gone, and all left are my tears to cry
You became my forbidden fruit, and all I want is to die
