Broken Engagement
What a bitter taste left in rose buds of my mouth
Your thoughtful bouquet & promise sealed lie
All but a game in this love you forgot left me in
Pain with no reverse of the time we met on lovers
Lane for a inch you made miles
Despite what they'd say I remained by your side
As the sun greets the day I remember the times
From tears on my face to the beginning of hi
We all make mistakes and are flawed under the sky
Though to me I seen those as uniquely divine
You journey away on a plane with my heart
With no one to say I'm sorry or why
I still have your ring and one day I will try
To pick up the phone and utter goodbye...
