Broken Home

Look into my eyes, and tell me why you have done this to me.
Did you not consider that destroying everything we had as a possibility?
Finding her in your arms hurt, but bringing her into our bed?
Never have I thought there would come a day where I would wish you dead.
The things you have done; not only affect my heart;
They have torn our children, and this family apart.
When you were making your rounds with another;
Did you consider how they would feel having me now as their father, and mother?
You have a new family; you are a father to her two.
And that is fine, because now I see; we never needed you.
I will love them, and give them the life you never could.
Work hard for what they need; the way you never would.
So do what you do best; just run away.
I will stay behind; look into their eyes; and say what you won't say.
But know that this time I refuse to lie for you.
Everything they hear will be the truth about the things you chose to do.
