Look at her eyes, you'll see her hurt.
Look at her scars, you'll see her story.
Look at her heart, you'll see the stitches.
Look at her body;
you'll see the girl who is hidden behind the scratchy makeup,
the messy hair, teary eyes, and a frown to destroy this world.
Look into her eyes
let them burn deeply into yours
as you watch her show you her fakest smile
Look at her scars
and let them burn onto your skin
as you see the puffy red lines hidden behind her long sleeved shirts
Look into her heart
and let it burn onto yours as you fall deeply in love with her,
Kissing her scars telling her it will be okay,
What do you do?
You never looked into her eyes, afraid of what you'll see
You never looked at her scars, afraid of a little blood?
You never looked at her heart
you don't love her. You don't see her.
All you see is the girl walking around the school
her head down and face covered by her hair.
But it's all too late,
Now you blame yourself for not looking at her
Now look at you,
I've burned everything onto you.
Keep burning like fire as it burns you down to nothing
