But I Know You

You may not know me,
but I know you,
From your crisp brown eyes,
right down to your shoes,
I recognize you a distance away,
"Hey", what I always wanted to say,
Instead just another stranger,
I remained,
You may not know me,
but I know you,
From the corner of the room,
I obtain bird's eyes view,
Watching your every move,
Anticipating a funny joke you'd say,
Watching as you frolic and play,
You may not know me,
but I know you
