Butterflies in the Garden

Butterflies float over two lovers' graves.
They dance, meet for the first time
And realize,
They have known each other forever.
And when the sun shines,
Bright colors sparkle on their wings,
When they float underneath the moon
They seem,
To be singing a familiar melody.

Butterflies these lovers felt throughout their life.
The lovers passed and after seeing the light,
Wings escaped to dance in the sunshine.
True love everlasting and strong,
Something to look forward to when we pass along.

Butterflies dance in the garden
Soaking up the sun's rays,
And we will meet again
Floating over our graves.
