You came to see me, buttefly,
That grassy hill in sunset;
You brought your pretty friend along
And danced in front of me.

Butterfly, butterfly,
Laughing at the wind;
Butterfly, butterfly,
Dancing fearlessly.

I hope you lived a long time there,
In that grassy palace;
If I ever go back there,
Will you be there for me?
