Caged Bird

Caged bird,
What jealousy you must feel watching the other birds fly

People admire you while whistling your tunes,
But they don’t realize that they are silent cries

Caged bird,
Don’t worry, you’ll soon have your wings back
And you’ll sing a different type of melody

For now focus on escaping, perhaps take on a different strategy..

You’ll be okay, caged bird, perchance, you’re better off where you are, as life always being “color de Rosa”, is just a fallacy
