Calling to Death

I scream and I shout with all of my might,
Staring deep into the cold dark night-
Death, I know you're upon the land...
Take me in your frozen hands!

Lead me down the ancient road,
I never wanted to grow old-
I never want to see another day;
I just need you to take my soul away.

Death, I know the darkness belongs to you-
It forever surrounds me, obscuring my view;
I can't see much but I know for sure...
That I'm waiting for YOU to knock upon my door!

I gave up fighting long into the past,
But Death, I know, you're here at last!
Come, chill me to the bone...
Guide the way. Take me home.

I hear the shrieking of demons, complete disarray,
No, No! Turn back, get away!
I've waited for forever to fall into your hands...
Now that you're here, I want to give life a chance.
