Calm Is The Storm


Slept beside fair, twilight leaves
Echoes ripple old, still seas
Vicious thunder fractures calm
Racing forth with grim alarm
Railing eyes so warped by rapture
Roaring skies so free to rupture
Pouring into tears and rage
Coerced by frigid, unhinged laughter
Clouds gather for a hurried scatter
All but gone, mere moments after
