Can Anyone Hear Me

I have been strong when it came to helping others
I have been destroyed when rape came from my brother
Went to school and was ridiculed by students and teachers
Made fun of by deacons and preachers

Daddy can you hear me, I need you to hold me
Can't you feel my pain, I need you to console me
Daddy do you see me looking sad and alone
A lost little girl without heaven or home

The years have passed but the pain is never ending
Take care of yourself, you are strong like a willow ever bending
But sometimes ever a strong tree will break into pieces
The storm of life has left me battered and torn
No child to love me, after damage was done

Cancer wrecks my body and my heart is heavy with sorrow
But I look up with hope for a brighter tomorrow
I never knew that God could bring peace
Ease my pain and cause anguish to cease

Daddy can you hear me, I you to hold me
Can't you feel my pain, I need you to console me
Daddy do you see me looking sad and alone
A lost little girl without heaven or home
