I’ll paint it as a dream
all the pains I’ve felt over the years
will disappear with the darkness of night
and all that I’ve said,
let it turn to the sand beneath you.

The words I’ve spoken will be forgotten like
the insignificant grains of sand
that wash away with the tide.

Let my tears become like the rain
and give birth to a life,
when all is said and done I wish to be
as white as a canvas.

Let it be so that all I’ve felt,
all I’ve done, will be for good cause
so that I may say that I lived well.
