Cascades

Cascades
A waterfall poem by Erica Andrews

I sit alone on a rock near the thunderous falls

I breathe in and I breathe out

I notice the thoughts in my mind are muffled by the sound of the water

I breathe in and I breathe out

I know I am cradled and held by Mother Earth

I breathe in and I breathe out

I nestle closer in her arms

I breathe in and I breathe out

I notice the thoughts come and the thoughts go like leaves floating by me down the river and like the clouds passing above me in the brilliant blue sky

I breathe in and I breathe out

I feel peace at the pause (paws) between each inhale and exhale

I close my eyes and know all is well

"May you be well
May you be happy
May you find peace"…….
Please know it is always available to you. Close your eyes, place your hand on your heart and breathe.
