Catacomb Garden

Love is meant to rot in the house of blood and bones
Fear is meant to linger in a cobwebbed cerebrum casket
Never do we cast away our chiseled tomb of doubt
To expose the vast expanse of roses that are watered by our tears
We sit in screaming silence to preserve our fragile hearts
Close our eyes and seem to forget
That our demons, they live in the dark.
