Cataract

I hid from you, knowing the later haze.
You crept around, changed shape,
Made everything white.
I dreamt I could see, that day was clear.
I closed your window, watched you crawl away,
Light the brick edge, heat irons, fall back.
Light, dark, light, dark, light, dark,
I imagined her arms once again
Spinning around the last.
