Catastrophe

I found a way to get over you,
Without a trace or clue.
I’m proud of the accomplishment,
I left you without a statement.

You may have supported my dreams,
Although, my dreams are sunbeams.
You cannot take them away,
All you ask now is, “Can I stay?”

I lay and watch the clouds,
Beyond the abundance of crowds,
I see you shimmering
In your own lies, you’re simmering.

I watch as you destroy yourself,
I can’t seem to help myself.
You slowly fall apart,
This is my favorite part...

You come crawling back,
But you’re right on track,
You’re “legacy” will fall,
It’ll leave everyone in great “Aw”.
