Celestial Extraction

There's a moment
when we sit down with ourselves
cutting thoughts fall away
silently alone these
gentle petals are sheer woven cloth
all on or about around us

I see a hole in the universe
a galaxy starlight ring
surrounding, empty black
where you are falling through
always over, back over
infinite and illusory

A universe holding
whole just for you
this special place
where stars
into deep atmosphere
fold forever out

Skybound breath
gushing air
as you pass through
these thoughts
fraying space
parting heaven
