Cell Block

HE WAKES EVERY MORNING ....
TO A KEY IN A LOCK....
REALITY COMES BACKS FOR
IT'S HIS CELL BLOCK...
LOCKED IN A ROOM WITH NO
LIGHT..LOCKED IN DARKNESS
OUT OF SIGHT..MISTAKES THAT
HE MADE THAT BROUGHT HIM
HERE...NEVER GOING HOME
WAS HIS WORST FEAR...
THE PAIN HE PUT OTHERS
THROUGH..BEING PUNISHED
EVERY DAY FOR WHAT HE THOUGHT
HE HAD TO DO...LOOKING THROUGH
HIS METAL BARS, LEAVING
INNOCENT PEOPLE WITH LIFE
LONG SCARS...
A CELL BLOCK IS WHERE HE NOW
LIVES..PUNISHMENT IS WHAT
THEY GIVE...EVERY MORNING THE
SAME ROUTINE, WAKEN BY KEYS
ON HIS METAL BARS AS THEY SING..
SCREAMING AND SHOUTING FROM
ALL THE CELLS AROUND....
THIS MAN'S SANITY WILL NEVER
BE FOUND....
SO THERE HE REMAINS FOR THE
BAD THAT HE'S DONE....
HIS DAY OF DEATH IS SOON
TO COME....
HE FEELS NO SADNESS, HE FEELS
NO PAIN, HE HEARS THE NOISES,
HE SMELLS THE BLOOD STAINS..
THEY FINELY PUT HIM IN
THE CHAIR OF REST...
STRAPS ACROSS HIS HEAD
AND CHEST..THEY WET THE SPONGE
THEY PUT IT ON HIS HEAD....
THEY PULLED THE LEVER
HE TO NOW IS DEAD....
