Cepholide- 5th AUGUST 1856

Travelling on the Cepholide,
With my Aphrodite,
Across the Mellicore d’Afrique.

Planning to have the trip of our life ,
Hoping to have le meilleur voyage.

Standing on the deck,
With air in my hair,
And marvellous sparkling ocean,
Right beneath us.

Soon did we realise ,
The future couldn’t be planned,
The ship sank,
In the depths of the ocean.

Bringing the sweet relief of death,
With the children of the seas.

Alone did I enter ,
Through the gates of the silver city,
Sitting along the silver river,
I wished all the health and happiness,
To my Aphrodite,
The love of my life ...
