Chains

I will no more be bound
By the constraints I have placed;
For these I have found
To be not truly based
In the reality and knowledge
I have come to believe.

These self-enforced rules
I meticulously bred
Resulted in countless duals
Fought in my head.
Keeping me held prisoner
To my irrational chains and cell.

They no longer belong
In the purpose I have made.
They have merely wrought wrong
In the game I have played.
It is through wisdom and conviction
That I will be free.
