Change

It creeps with malice
Seeps with claim
Rises at challenges
and defeats the unnamed
Who are you?
Must I bide the time until you must take
Or sit here with patience to uncover your fate
It unfolds what is true
recalls what was lost
Creates a new beginning
but aches with remorse
What are you?
Must I accept what you propose
Or shun with bitter nose
You bring a new light
Curiosity a familiar
Vanquishing present flight
yet promising a future
Why are you?
I must hear the answer
I must...
You creep, claim, unfold, recall, and vanquish
and now I meet you with welcome arms, and you embrace
How are you, Change?
