Change Means Hope for Tomorrow

Present at the moment is the touch of flagrant cold
Dark clouds emanate their snowy burden leisurely from above
While covering all that it touches it silences sound
Hands outstretched I capture natures magnificent creations
They melt in a heartbeat resulting in a wet drop
A scent of purified air new and clean penetrates my being
I shiver but behold the incredible beauty present
My appreciation is immense and results in acceptance
For I have lived through manifold seasons as such
And spring has never failed me
Without change and hope of a renewed season I would falter
And life would not be worthwhile living for even just one day.
