Chaotic ways
It’s so unreal
the way life goes on
in its own chaotic way,
that i never know
heads from tails
living day to day.
problems confronted
friends to make
i wish you'd please stay,
for i’ll tell you about
the way that i feel
no grey in what i say.
questions are asked
in turn an answer
“confused as ever” i say,
maybe we weren’t
meant to be
companions in any way.
or maybe we need to start again
in our own chaotic way.
the way life goes on
in its own chaotic way,
that i never know
heads from tails
living day to day.
problems confronted
friends to make
i wish you'd please stay,
for i’ll tell you about
the way that i feel
no grey in what i say.
questions are asked
in turn an answer
“confused as ever” i say,
maybe we weren’t
meant to be
companions in any way.
or maybe we need to start again
in our own chaotic way.
