Chasing the Children Away

The kids Ran fast and waited for their release
in the pitch black cold abyss of the night,
the hurtful intoxicated slurs of their loved ones
chased them through the flight,
eating away at them like devil spawned beast.
Now the innocence has turned to an aura shade of black
as the carcass ran and fell flat,
the crack that was forced into them with a silver spoon pipe
became an addiction to the night.
The children continue to run but the sun shoots to the sky
faster than a bullet form a gun,
knowing what had to be done must be completed
before the night is depleted
the short gasp of a breath leaves the deteriorated body
sinking into natures flesh ,
The job is done and now the demons are at rest.
