Child Of The Universe

Child of the universe,
Cradled in the galaxies.
I lift you up,
Brush stardust from your eyes
As rock shakes from your skin,
And you breathe hot light onto my face.
Your inhalation consumes me
Into nothingness, and you fall from my arms
To take root in my absence;
Grow hair like comets' wispy tails,
Stretch bright limbs out to grasp at air,
Expand until it catches gravity
In every step you take away.
You leave universes.
