Childhood

Poem by Matthew S...
Title: Childhood

Genesis episode for all big and small,
Inescapable like death,
A scar left for expression,
Interesting and amazing.

Moonlight tales and stories,
Chatting and dancing,
Roistering hide and seek,
As the moon smiles graciously.

Mother's cuddling,
Her arms a metropolis,
Her back a pouch of pleasure,
Tied to it, as we journey.

Delicacies from sand,
Dancing and shouting as the rain stretch,
Rolling automobile tires,
Crafty display of rubber ring play.

Contented without worries,
Memories unforgettable.
