Childhood – A Phase Faded

Oh how sweet to cherish that blossom of thoughts,
Which once lay trivial; something to be bought….
Oh soul you should have realized their worth when they existed
Rather than brooding over what now lie defeated!
Manifested with notions of innocence, purity, curiosity….
You faded away without whisper of intensity.
To reminisce you gives me utmost pleasure….
But deep within it leaves me shattered longing for that treasure!
Satisfaction mattered and not perfection,
Dreams fantasized and not goals….
The present hadn’t been swallowed away fearing the future….
I’ve left you behind unknowingly and crave to get you back….
The deal of living has now unfolded into the deal of surviving,
Heartful laughters are just mind- driven smiles….
Behind all of my loneliness and emptiness,
There you are captivating my senses…easing my shackles, glorifying those moments.
I don’t fear never getting you back
Cos you lay ever living deep within.
You must have been stolen,
And I must now be broken..
But NO..All these broken pieces still remember you..
And your mesmerizing memories will let me sailing through the summaries..
The summaries of Life,
The summaries of Strife!
