Chirps

"Chirp" goes the bird with no delay,
Though the skies may be gray.
It does not fear the events of today,
Or fret the sorrows of yesterday.
He does not notice any cloud array
But focuses on the adventures of today.
Oh, how we wish to be like so
Yet make no effort to see it though.
"Chirp" goes the bird, though he knows not what to expect.
He goes about his routine and forgets the rest.
No judgment, no fear no matter who hears,
He is just glad to be alive and tries to do his best.
