Christmas

White particles floating down form the sky
Covering the tall tree
And brown houses

Lights wrapped around
Decorations sitting gorgeously
Knowing they will be in dust until next year
Watching as children run by throwing snow at each other
Sitting calmly and peacefully

Hot coco siting by the fireplace
With marshmallows bobbling around
A cookies assortment on the table
That includes little ginger men and women

Watching as day goes
Waiting for you to sleep
And see you wake up in the morn’
