Christmas 2017

Christmas 2017

It is now Christmas Eve
And I'm sitting here all alone
Waiting for anybody
To call me on the phone

I thought I had a friend
Who was going to spend it with me
But he received some bad and was no longer full of glee

The next thing I know
I am getting a text
And it's my friend
Asking me for sex

But I am Menopausal
And he's already been told
I have no desire for that
Even if you lace it with gold

A few hours later
He walks through my door
Immediately his phone rings
But oddly he ignores

Why does he think
I don't know whats going on
All the men in my life
Have already song this song

I have a good feeling
He won't be coming back
I can tell by how he spoke
I can tell by the way he act

Maybe one of these days
Someone will be patient with me
But I certainly doubt it
And have no reason to agree

Once again ...
Merry Christmas to me
