Chronic Introversion

Says Fernando Pessoa, chronic emptiness
And long search of words to say
Are what describes
My incompetence
To talk.
I too, being in large groups,
Feel my heartbeat
As my soul shakes words out of me,
But to no avail.
I have so much to share
To laugh about, to cry
But nobody cares
My tattered soul realizes pains
No opportunity to be genuine
My only choice is to be fake
But my soul sways
As a breeze of hope
comes through me.
Somebody cares truly!
Somebody came to talk to me
Time passes and day gets brighter
Sharing intimate moments
And intimate conversations.
For this reason,
I have more distant friends
Than close friends.
